Dr. Pradeep Garg is a molecular imaging scientist specializing in the development of novel radiopharmaceuticals. He works as the executive director of CMIT and had been instrumental in conducting numerous translational research projects pertaining to oncology, cardiology and neuroimaging over the years.
Dr. Sudha Garg, is the Director of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences for the Center for Molecular Imaging and Therapy (CMIT). Her research focuses on the development of novel radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. She also oversees the radiopharmaceutical production and distribution activities at Southern Isotope facilities in Baton Rouge and Shreveport.
Dr. Amol Takalkar serves as the medical director at the Center for Molecular Imaging & Therapy. He is also an associate professor of clinical radiology and associate director of research in the Department of Radiology as well as a clinical associate professor of medicine in the Hematology-Oncology Section in the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.
Dr. Stephen Lokitz is the Director of Imaging Sciences and the Clinical Research Compliance Officer for the Center for Molecular Imaging and Therapy (CMIT). In addition, he serves as the Radiation Safety Officer and Research Integrity Officer for the BRF. He also oversees the physics program for CMIT including Southern Isotopes and the PET Imaging Center, the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center Shreveport Small Animal Imaging Facility. Dr. Lokitz joined BRF in 2008.
